Day 2

day2_dc.png Today play Gulf Harbour (tbc). A spectacular Robert Trent Jones (Jnr) designed course. Situated on a peninsula with 360 degree views of the Hauraki Gulf, home of the America’s Cup in 2000 and 2003. The course has a great variety of holes, superb bunkering and enough challenge for even the best golfers. A choice of several tees makes it playable for every level of golfer. Host to 1998 World Cup of Golf and 2005 NZ Open.

Day 3

Drive to Taupo today.

Overnight: Manuels Millennium Resort: Premium Room – including breakfast (2 Rooms, 4 passengers)

Day 4

day5.png Today play Wairakei International (tbc). The best inland course in the country, it has been rated by Golf Digest in the top 100 in the world. It provides everything one could wish for in a golf course. The signature hole is the 615 par par 5 14th, aptly named ‘The Rogue’, a very demanding hole.

Day 5

Today sightsee in Taupo.

Day 6

Today play the Taupo – Centennial Course (tbc). An excellent course, one of two played by members of Taupo Golf Club. A mature course, fully irrigated, it requires accurate tee shots to the fairways and the large contoured greens require pinpoint approaches.

Day 7

Today fly to Queenstown Airport.

Today sightsee in Queenstown.

Day 8

day8_dc.png Today play Queenstown (Kelvin Heights) (tbc). Built on a wooded peninsula protruding into Lake Wakatipu, it is known as one of the world’s most scenic courses. Both a photographer’s and golfer’s dream, it demands accurate driving and true iron shots. The hardest part however is to concentrate on golf rather than the mountain beauty.

Day 9

day9.png Today play at Millbrook (tbc). Designed by internationally renowned New Zealand professional golfer and former British Open winner, Sir Bob Charles. Millbrook’s golf course is an exceptional golfing experience, set against a spectacular alpine backdrop and fashioned from the original terrain, this course provides exciting and demanding golf.

Day 10

Today fly to Christchurch Airport.

Today sightsee in Christchurch.

Overnight: Crowne Plaza Hotel Christchurch: Mountain View Room – including breakfast (2 Rooms, 4 passengers)

Day 11

day13.png Today play Christchurch (tbc). This is the 2nd oldest club in New Zealand and has stood the test of time exceptionally well. A links type course with immaculate greens it has in the old traditions a great mix of long holes and exciting, delicate short ones. (P.J. Boatwright of the U.S.G.A. stated in 1990 that it could worthily hold the U.S. Open Championship).

Depart New Zealand from the Christchurch Airport.
