17 DAY GREENS & GAME PARKS

1 – Today is departure day from your home state.  You will be collected from your home or designated pick up address by a private transfer and taken to the airport in readiness for your flight to Cape Town with Singapore Airlines.

2 – CAPE TOWN
Upon arrival at Cape Town Airport, you’ll be welcomed and transferred in comfort to the stunningly appointed Victoria & Alfred Hotel, located in the heart of the V&A Waterfront.   The warm personality of the hotel, the attention to detail and the friendly atmosphere created by the staff are responsible for the Victoria & Alfred being one of the few hotels in the country to be granted the prestigious four star silver grading.

Steenberg is located beside the vineyards of the oldest wine farm in South Africa. The course is renowned for its incredible greens, including the largest green in Africa. It has gently undulating fairways and its greens are surrounded by broad aprons of bent grass encourage players to play a ‘chip and run’ approach on all the holes.   Return transfer to the hotel after your round of golf and explore the V&A Waterfront at your own pace.

4 – CAPE TOWN
Enjoy breakfast before meeting your guide at reception. You’ll be transferred to Pearl Valley Golf Course.  Pearl Valley hosted the South African Open in 2007, ‘08 and ‘09. Jack Nicklaus selected this incredible location in the Winelands for his first course in the Western Cape.    Pearl Valley, today one of the country’s most scenic and celebrated courses, was masterfully crafted out of the rich soil of this spectacular region.  After your round of golf your guide can show you around the picturesque town of Franschhoek if you are keen.  Franschhoek is the famous district where the French Huguenots settled in the late 1600s. Most of the wine estates in Franschhoek are still owned by the descendants of the Huguenots.
Visit the Huguenot Museum and the chocolateries and cafés before returning to the hotel.

5 – VIC FALLS
Check out after breakfast and meet your guide at reception for your transfer back to the airport. Board your international flight to Livingstone. Upon arrival at Livingstone, you’ll be and transferred in comfort to the Zambezi Sun Resort.   The Zambezi Sun offers 212 rooms and caters mainly for families and conference delegates. The guest rooms reflect their African heritage in the rich red earth colour and rounded planes of their walls. In the early evening a magnificent visual image is created by the dark silhouette of the hotel set against iridescent curls of smoky vapour.

Meet your driver at reception after breakfast and head for the Livingstone Royal Golf & Country Club.    The Livingstone Royal is an 18 hole par 72 course. Acclaimed golf course architect Peter Matkovich has redesigned the full 18 holes. Built in 1908, the beautifully renovated clubhouse offers one a glimpse of a bygone era.   Return to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

8 – JOBERG
Check out after breakfast and meet your guide at reception.   You’ll be transferred to the airport where you’ll board your flight to Johannesburg.   Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred in comfort to the Emperors Palace Casino for 1 night.

Open 24 hours, the casino main floor features 882 slot machines in a host of denominations, with bets ranging from as little as 1c to R5 on traditional reel slot machines and the latest multi-line video slots and poker machines.   Featuring many restaurants and a cinema this provides the perfect place for a 1 night stopover.

9 – KRUGER

10 – KRUGER
Sunrise and sunset ranger guided safaris in the Kruger Park.   The diversity of the Kruger National Park’s flora is matched by an equally dazzling variety of mammalian, avian, reptilian and amphibian species. 507 bird and 147 mammal species reside in the Kruger National Park, while recent surveys substantiate the presence of 7000 elephants, 2000 lions and 400 endangered African Wild Dogs (Lycaon Pictus).    Spend the evening relaxing at the camp.

11 – SUN CITY
Check out after breakfast and meet your guide at reception.   You’ll be transferred to Cape Town Airport where you’ll board your domestic flight to Johannesburg.   Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed and transferred in comfort to the Sun City Resort. 13 – SUN CITY
Enjoy breakfast before teeing off at the Lost City Golf Club.   South African golfing legend and course designer, Gary Player, believes that he has created one of the top courses in the world at Lost City, with its desert style front nine and out-of Africa back nine bordering the Pilanesberg National Park.    Beware of the 38 giant crocodiles guarding the water hazard surrounding the signature par 3 13th hole!   Spend the remainder of the day exploring all the attractions at Sun City at your own pace.
