Peninsula is a scenic resort region, rich in wineries, restaurants
and art galleries. Wildlife abounds in its more secret corners,
and birdsong greets you wherever you walk through its well-tended
parks. Even the names of the towns evoke a holiday atmosphere: Dromana
(a superb beach for swimming), Rosebud (a holiday mecca), Sorrento
( a grand old seagoing village) and Red Hill (famous for its monthly
craft markets).
Mornington Peninsula can be favourably compared to some of the
finest Peninsulas in the World. There is an abundance of great golf
courses and stunning coastal views from every corner of the Mornington
Peninsula.
